Job Overview
Pay: £93 per day. Full time, term time only. Start: September 2026. Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. We are seeking a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in a Year 1 classroom, providing 1:1 support for a pupil with mild Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 1 pupil with autism.
- Assist the child in accessing the curriculum and completing classroom activities.
- Support the pupil's social and emotional development, helping them build positive relationships with peers.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and interventions that meet the child's individual needs.
