Job Description
TeacherActive are proud to be working with a primary school in Gower. The Headteacher is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a Nursery class until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic coupled with a can do attitude and a passion for working with the Foundation Phase. The class teacher will delegate tasks to the Teaching Assistant which will involve leading small groups of children in an activity.
TeacherActive are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:
Will have relevant experience of working with children (minimum of 6 months)
Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools
Will be required to work under the direction of the class teacher
Responsible for working with an individual pupil and small groups
Will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and a can do attitude
