About the role
22 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks) – hours assigned to a specific Year 2 student.
Fixed Term Contract to 31.8.2030. £12,808 per annum, pay award pending.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Class Teacher and support the Head of Primary.
- Support teachers to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively.
- Help create an environment where children are happy, stimulated and excited to learn.
- Encourage children to behave thoughtfully, responsibly and considerately.
- Maintain smooth and efficient classroom organisation.
- Guarantee that each child benefits from individual support.
- Plan and deliver appropriate activities.
- Assist teaching staff and work independently when required.
- Bring energy and patience to support children’s educational, physical and social development.
