Teaching Assistant

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting on behalf of a 2‑form entry primary school in the borough of Havering (Romford). We are looking for a talented teaching assistant with a desire to make a lasting impact on young people with additional needs, particularly those with Autism and/or SEMH (social, emotional, mental health) needs.
About you:
- Understand that Autism and neurodivergence affects individuals differently.
- Have a solid understanding of sensory processing differences, communication needs, and social challenges faced by young people with Autism.
- Be observant and able to identify patterns, triggers, strengths, and areas of need in the students you support.
- Adjust your approaches to each student according to the child's mood, needs, and circumstance.
- Think creatively to overcome barriers to learning.
