Job Description
Katharine Lady Berkeley's School is seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate would support students with complex emotional and behavioural needs by building trusting relationships, providing emotional support, delivering targeted interventions, and creating a calm, structured environment to help them access the curriculum. They would work with our new hub providing support for children who are struggling within the school day, helping them regulate emotions, reflect on behaviour, and successfully reintegrate back into the classroom. The role involves working across the regulation room, reflection room, and reintegration room to support with de-escalation and provide targeted support for children when needed.
The position is term time only, 27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.20am to 2.50pm with a 60-minute unpaid break . There may, however, be some flexibility on hours for ideal candidates. The full-time equi...
