Job Description
This larger Gateshead primary school supports around 400 pupils and regularly uses supply teaching assistants to support learning across KS1 and KS2. The school is well structured, with clear expectations and experienced staff who provide guidance to new support workers.
No prior school experience is required — the school is looking for the right attitude, commitment, and interest in working with children.
The Role:
Supporting pupils in class and in small groups
Assisting with learning activities
