Teaching Assistant and Special Needs Assistant - either 15 hours (mornings) or 30 hours (5 full days) per week, term time only
The role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant and Special Needs Assistant to work 15 or 30 hours per week (term time only – 38.6 weeks). The pay is £16,995 (pro rata), £24,330 (FTE). You will be assisting in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the Head teacher, SENCO and class teachers, including:
•Assisting in the delivery of educational work programmes by participating in day-to-day learning activities.
• Assisting in the delivery of individual work programmes for pupils with an EHCP (education health care plan) and SEN pupils with IEPs as required.
• Working with small groups of pupils as required.
• Organising and maintaining the learning environment.
• Understanding and applying school policies.
