Responsibilities:
- Position patients on examining tables and place appropriate coils close to areas of interest in accordance with radiologist specifications.
- Demonstrate and operate communication microphones to maintain patient-technologist dialogue throughout the procedure.
- Enter patient data, including history, anatomical targets, and positioning details into the computer system.
- Select and modify scan sequences, adjusting transmitters and receivers to optimize image quality.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort via control room and closed-circuit TV during scans.
