Technical Accounting Specialist

The Role

As a Technical Accounting Specialist, you will be the business partner of choice, delivering safely, responsibly and sustainably for the benefit of all our stakeholders and in support of the strategic growth of the business to delivery operational advantage

Day-to-day, You’ll Support the Group in meeting its financial reporting requirements as a publicly listed company as well as supporting the UK based statutory accounts including relevant audits and iXBRL tagging.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring that the Group is appropriately prepared and set-up to be compliant with new accounting standards

Investigating and facilitating solutions to potentially complex accounting issues that arise both at a Group level and within the business

Liaising with business finance staff to provide technical advice and support e.g. how to account for the Group’s long-term contracts
