Are you hands-on, organised, and enjoy working with technology? Join our Networks team as a Technical Assistant in North West, Klerksdorp , and support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fibre optic and wireless systems.
The key purpose of this role is to assist Senior Technicians in delivering high-quality network installations and repairs while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency on every job.
What you’ll do:
Assist with site surveys, including signal scans, throughput tests, and capturing photos for equipment placement
Support installations by mounting brackets, cable hooks, and running cables under the guidance of Senior Technicians
Perform CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) recovery, removing equipment and tidying work sites
Participate in callout repairs, inspecting sites for potential future issues and assisting with maintenance tasks
