Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties
- Purchase goods, materials, components, and services in line with cost, quality, lead‑time, and SHE protocols.
- Provide procurement support to the client’s offices (Paarl and Hermanus).
- Manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes and supplier selection.
- Negotiate contracts to achieve savings and ensure best total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Ensure compliance with Purchase Requisitions and Vendor Control procedures.
- Prepare and process compliant purchase orders within ERP systems (LATIS/SAP By‑Design).
- Source products/services and evaluate new vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and competitor strategies.
- Maintain approved vendor lists and ensure adherence to Group Contracts Management procedures.
- Communicate supply issues, delays, or risks to stakeholders.
