Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute purchasing activities for spare parts, mechanical components, fabrication materials, electrical supplies, and industrial equipment
- Create, process, and manage Purchase Requisition (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) using Oracle ERP systems
- Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and material requirements from engineering and maintenance teams
- Source qualified suppliers and request quotations (RFQs) for technical items
- Compare supplier quotations based on price, specifications, delivery timelines, and quality
- Track orders, monitor delivery schedules, and expedite urgent requirements
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for critical spare parts and consumables
- Coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams to ensure material availability
