Job Description
Our client, a fashion brand, is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team on a contract basis in their New York office.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the technical design process from development to final fit.
- Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
- Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
- Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
- Create CAD flats for tech packs.
- Direct Assistant/ Associate Technical Designers.
- Lead fittings and oversee fit comments.
- Partner closely with the design team.
