Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing ship management company in Dubai for a highly experienced Technical Manager or Technical Director to support ongoing fleet expansion and strengthen the technical department. This is a senior-level opportunity suited to an experienced shore-based professional with a strong background in tanker and or dry bulk vessel operations who wants to be part of a hands‑on fast-moving and commercially focused ship management environment.
Key Responsibilities- Full technical management of assigned tanker and or dry bulk vessels
- Monitoring technical performance, maintenance standards and fleet reliability
- Planning and supervising drydockings, repairs and major overhauls
- Managing technical budgets, OPEX control and procurement optimisation initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with Class, Flag State, statutory and vetting requirements
