Job Description
This position will have lead responsibility for providing centralized technical expertise, support and services to the whole organization to ensure transport system safety, operational efficiency and system reliability. The department will be responsible for providing technical subject matter expertise across the organization including leveraging systems and technology related to:
- Transport capacity planning including Fleet Strategy
- System Upgrades and Renewal Planning (Rolling Stock and core systems)
- Systems Assurance (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety)
- Asset Management and related quality framework
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Operations planning covering train timetabling, service schedules and staff deployment
- Maintenance and resource planning including scheduling, processes/procedures definition, manpower planning, inventory planning and control and others
