Job Description
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair onboard electrical, electronic, automation, navigation, communication, and control systems. Ensure the safe and reliable operation of DP systems and other mission-critical electrical equipment. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS). Attend to electrical and control system defects promptly and ensure proper rectification. Monitor the performance and condition of electrical equipment and report any abnormalities or recurring issues. Coordinate with the Master, Chief Engineer, and shore-based technical team on electrical and DP-related matters. Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, service reports, and spare parts usage.
