Technical Support Engineer - Refrigeration and HVAC

Reference: Pta -EP-2

A refrigeration company is looking for a Technical Support Engineer. The ideal candidate should have a BEng/BSc/BTech or Diploma with relevant working experience. Travelling is involved. Must be able to communicate in English and Afrikaans.

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

  • BEng/BSc (Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineer)
  • Will consider a National Diploma or BTech (Mechanical) with relevant working experience.
  • 0-5 years of working experience in HVAC&R (depending on qualifications)
Responsibilities:
  • Electronic control setup and programming for refrigeration.
  • Troubleshooting of refrigeration plants.
  • Must be willing to travel and assist refrigeration contractors after hours, both telephonically and on-site.
