Job Description
Our client, a leading supplier of goods and services to a wide spectrum of industries in South Africa and other African countries, wants to appoint a Technical Trader/Buyer who will be responsible for efficiently managing and processing all technical enquiries from sourcing through to delivery and invoicing to the customer. The person will follow up on all potential business activity in the company’s territories to grow this activity within the Group of companies. This will be achieved through market analysis, commercial actions, and related vendor negotiations. The successful candidate should both be technically and commercially minded and eager to work in the field/on the ground to find these new up-stream potential clients.
Successful candidates should have experience in buying and selling technical products ranging from spare parts to advanced technical equipment and machinery. Previous experience working with African countries will be beneficial....
