Role Overview The Technical Underwriting Manager plays a critical role in shaping underwriting excellence, ensuring adherence to technical standards, and driving continuous improvement across the portfolio. Reinsurance management oversees the purchase of reinsurance including internal treaty arrangements with Group and manages external facultative reinsurance purchases across the Business Unit ensuring coverage adequacy and optimization. This role is part of the Underwriting Leadership team providing deep technical support to the Chief Underwriting Officer, LOB Heads and Underwriters, leading strategic underwriting initiatives, and contributing significantly to profitable business growth through robust governance, insights, and innovation.
