Designs and develops wiring harnessesUses related 2D CAD software tools e.g. Eldorado, Harness XCUses harness development processes and methods e.g. VOBESPerforms efficient design tasks according to appropriate LEONI and customer guidelines and specification Supports design reviewsMaintains high knowledge about wiring harnesses and related production processes Works in close cooperation with internal departments and related suppliers and customersUses and performs relevant methods and tools e.g. FME, DFM (Design for Manufacturing)Evaluates product change requests and provides solutionsActs as resident engineer if requiredProvides technical support for CSO and COO areas and within CTO areaCommunicates with customer engineering department Qualifications and Experience
