Job Description
Our client is seeking experienced and dealer-trained Diesel Mechanics, Motor Mechanics and Auto Electricians for full-time positions based in Wollongong, NSW. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience working across a range of vehicles and machinery, including European and Japanese light vehicles, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks, as well as 4WDs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain vehicles to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose, overhaul, repair, and test diesel, petrol and gas-powered vehicles
- Repair and replace engine management and fuel injection components
- Trace and resolve diagnostic fault codes
- Repair electrical systems, including: Lighting, Instrumentation, Ignition, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)
- Dismantle and rebuild engines, transmissions and steering components
- Perform brake adjustments and laser wheel alignments
