Job Description An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Technician to join our Lighting team on a permanent basis. NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services. Position Details You will be an operational team member responsible for the development; installation; maintenance and monitoring of the City’s Street Lighting Network to meet service targets and enforce compliance with electrical regulations & technical standards. The post will also require the flexibility to assist Lighting projects and other Service streams to transform Glasgow City Council’s Street lighting estate, investing in LED technology/infrastructure to develop a safe, reliable energy efficient lighting network.
