Description
Primary Purpose: This position is designed to provide technical assistance to clinicians and undergraduate students essential to the provision of diagnostic imaging services for animals presented to or in the care of the Veterinary Medical Centre.
Nature of Work: The incumbent in this position will report to the Manager Business, Finance and Support and will assist in all technical aspects of the diagnostic imaging services. Subject to unpredictability of working with animals, both large and small, as animal handling and manipulation is a constant part of the position. This position works in an animal facility with large animals (equine, bovine, porcine, caprine, ovine, and some exotics llamas, alpacas, etc.) and small animals (canine, feline, avian, and some exotics) which exposes employees to animal dander, waste, and unpredictability.
