Job Description
Our client, a well-established company who operates within the Engineering, Welding and Mining industries is looking for a Technician who can repair and maintain engine driven electrical and pneumatic equipment, to join their team in Sasolburg.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess and test the defective machines, and fault find and submit to supervisors of repair needs.
- Disassemble machines and take off part for replacement or repair.
- Examine or carry out tasks or broken machine parts and identify defective parts.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to manufactures and company specifications.
- Reassemble machines after the completion of repair maintenance work.
- Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories in line with manufactures and company specifications.
- Understanding and commissioning of PLCs, knowledge on deep sea controllers will be advantageous.
