Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance on Volvo Construction Equipment at workshop locations and job sites. Work independently and, at times, supervise trainee or apprentice technicians. Maintain direct customer contact and foster strong customer relationships through technical and interpersonal skills.
- Plan work procedures using technical literature and personal experience.
- Recommend parts, pre‑order materials, and ensure all hand tools, cameras, pressure gauges, multi‑meters, VCADS, and other special tools are available.
- Diagnose problems using testing and diagnostic equipment, disassemble, assemble, and repair equipment while estimating repair costs and minimizing re‑work.
- Maintain clean work areas, properly use and care for tools and equipment in field and workshop.
- Keep field vehicles in proper operation, clean, and presentable per guidelines.
