Accounting Technician

Opportunity
The accounting technician supports the team in processing transactions, analyzing variances, helping to prepare year-end files, and carrying out accounting activities across the various management companies.
Responsibilities
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare various financial and accounting reports.
- Reconcile vendor statements of account.
- Process payments by cheque and by credit and debit cards.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for utility bills, taxes and other payments.
- Issue cheques and electronic fund transfers (EFTs).
- Document and prepare invoices and purchase orders.
