Job Summary:
The incumbent reviews land development projects, ensures compliance with standards, and manages capital projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews detailed design drawings, contract specifications, and reports submitted by private developers and/or consultants to ensure compliance with Servicing Standards Manual and sound engineering principles. Completes, manages, or coordinates the design and construction of in-house capital infrastructure projects to be completed by contractors or City forces or manages consultant controlled projects including reviewing reports and designs to ensure compliance with City Servicing Standards and sound engineering principles. Oversees and inspects capital projects, evaluates performance of consultants and contractors.
