Job Description

Title: Temp - CST - OR (Days) Springfield, VT

Description:

Surgical Associates offers general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs, soft tissue masses and traumatic injuries. Our General Surgeon is always on call at Springfield Hospital for urgent/emergent surgery such as appendectomy, surgery to relieve bowel obstruction or repair of complex lacerations. Some commonly performed surgical procedures include:

  • Colonoscopy
  • Upper GI Endoscopy
  • Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder)
  • Soft Tissue Mass Excision (Lipomas, cysts)
  • Open and Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair
  • Open and Laparoscopic Umbilical Hernia Repair
  • Open and Laparoscopic Incisional Hernia Repair
  • Excisional Biopsies
  • Hemorrhoid Procedures
  • Oncologic Surgery for Breast or Colon Cancer
  • Antireflux Surgery
  • Skin Grafting
