Job Description
Key Performance Indicators:
- Maintain all Injection moulds
- Ensure that all tools are prepared and available for production when required
- Ensure repairs and services to tooling are in accordance with company guidelines
- Report defects and repairs by filling in control documents
- Report any deviations to management
- Upkeep and maintenance of Toolroom equipment and machinery 5S
Minimum Requirements:
- N3 plus Trade Certificate minimum
- 3 to 5 years’ working experience as a qualified toolmaker with Injection Moulding experience
- Technical Knowledge in the Injection mould industry
- Experience working with large moulds up to 50 tons
- Heavy Duty Crane License would be an added advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of working with tools with hot runners, grained surfaces and 2K materials is a requirement
