Job Description
- Perform rudimentary and functional testing on PCB assemblies using test fixtures and test system.
- Troubleshoot and repair defective boards to the component level using schematics and test equipment.
- Document failure modes, repair actions and test results accurately in logs or databases.
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers and other diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring board-level failures.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to production, engineering and quality teams.
- Interpret and work from schematics, layout diagrams, test procedures and assembly drawings.
- Assist in the development and improvement of test processes and troubleshooting guides.
