Job Description
Typical Day in Role:
- Perform end-to-end QA and data validation for Banking and Capital Calculations regulatory reporting systems
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for Basel III and OSFI regulatory reports including BCAR, NCR, Pillar III and LRR
- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex financial and regulatory datasets
- Perform data-level QA using complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target mappings and calculations
- Collaborate with business analysts, regulatory SMEs, data engineers, and developers to understand regulatory logic and testing requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Participate in regulatory audits, reviews, and validation exercises
- Automate regression and data validation tests using Python-based frameworks (where applicable)
