The City of Orrville is seeking applicants for the position of Electric Distribution Line Supervisor. This non-exempt, classified position will plan and schedule construction, maintenance, and repair of system lines, including material and equipment estimates and enters into the computerized maintenance management system; supervise assigned personnel, assigns tasks and vehicles, provide guidance and periodically monitor work performance, and inspect on completion; monitor the installation of single- and three-phase metering; perform installation work if required; respond to storm and other emergency situations that may arise; organize and coordinate mutual aid with other utilities as necessary; prepare sketches and maps using the utilitiy’s CAD system; consult with s...
