Theatre Care Assistant - Emergency Theatre

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting motivated people to join our expanding Theatre Department delivering a 24‑hour service as a Theatre Care Assistant.
Within the department we offer opportunities with a comprehensive educational programme, including Level 3 apprenticeships in Perioperative care and Operative Department Practitioner Apprenticeships.
This role is a support workers role, not a healthcare assistant role. You will have limited patient contact and will support the theatre team within the circulating role and the daily running of the theatre environment.
Base Location: UHD – Poole Hospital. The speciality is planned to move to RBH from March 2026, and cross‑site work may be necessary depending on department needs.
