Overview
Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30pm; one half-day Saturday every 3 weeks may be required.
Responsibilities- Assist the therapist in setting up patients on therapeutic equipment.
- Assist the therapist in setting up, supervising, and assisting patients in the performance of therapeutic activities and exercises.
- Assist the therapist in the fabrication of orthoses and devices necessary for rehabilitation.
- Prepare, retrieve, and file patient records.
- Tidy the therapy area and assist with cleaning duties.
- Coordinate portering of patients to and from the department for therapy, and porter patients if necessary.
- Handle enquiries, answer phone calls, and record and convey messages.
- Assist in setting up an inventory list of equipment, supplies, and forms.
- Perform inventory checks of equipment, supplies, and forms.
- Perform photocopying, binding, filing, and distribution of documents and forms.
