Job Description Vertiv is looking for an Application Engineer (Thermal) to provide pre‑sales technical support for data centre cooling solutions, with a focus on perimeter cooling and high‑density rack cooling.
The role involves interpreting customer requirements, developing technical proposals, bills of materials, and solution designs for tender submissions. It also includes supporting sales and project teams with technical expertise, coordinating with internal factories and support teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications and FAT requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide pre‑sales consultancy for data centre critical infrastructure with a special emphasis on Vertiv Thermal related products such as perimeter cooling & high density rack cooling.
Receive customer inquiries and interpret customer specifications and requirements for technical proposals by generating bill of materials, proposal writing and product solutioning for tender submission.
