Job Description
Our client is seeking a Contractor to provide the following services: A highly motivated Thermal Hydraulic Software Analysis Engineer to support the computational thermal-hydraulic analysis of the reactor core for the sodium-cooled Natrium Reactor program. Reporting to the Manager, Core Thermal Hydraulics Methods & Analysis for System Thermal Hydraulics, you will refine core assembly designs and evaluate their thermal-hydraulic behavior under various conditions in advanced nuclear reactor system.
Tasks:
- Perform thermal hydraulic analysis and engineering calculation/assessment of nuclear reactor core components and structures in exploration of reactor architecture options including component selections, configurations, and sizing in support of the design of Natrium demonstration reactor system using in-house thermal-hydraulic software, computational fluid dynamic software, and hand calculations.
