About the organisation
Tiwi Resources Pty Ltd is a trust company established by the Tiwi Land Council in 1991 and owned by the Tiwi Islands' eight landowning groups. Under the guidance of a strong 100 per cent Tiwi governance board, it provides services to help reduce poverty, advance education, improve land and sea management, and support cultural programs. Tiwi Resources manages natural resource management projects for all Tiwi, including the Ranger Program, the Junior Ranger Program, the Tiwi Islands Indigenous Protected Area, and the Tiwi Fire & Carbon Project.
About the role
The Tiwi Ranger Operations Coordinator will play a hands-on role in facilitating land and sea management activities across the Tiwi Islands as part of the Tiwi IPA Plan of Management.
