SAIC is seeking a skilled and experienced **Journey Level CNC Machinist/Tool and Die Maker** to join our dynamic manufacturing team at **NAWC Crane, IN.** The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating and programming CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other machining equipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision parts according to specifications.
+ Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
+ Advanced level CNC programming of CNC machines using Mastercam and other programming languages.
+ Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
