About the Job
Tool & Die Technicians will maintain, rework, and fabricate dies and tools for production requirements, as well as perform changeovers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain existing dies and perform changeovers.
- Fabricate dies and tools; rework dies for production requirements.
- Collaborate with tool room, production, engineering, quality, and other departments.
- Participate in pre-planning and design of new tooling, refurbishment, end-of-life tooling, and capacity tooling as required.
- Take part in tooling design and print review meetings and project overview meetings.
- Plan and layout work according to models, blueprints, drawings, or written/oral specifications.
- Understand the working properties of common methods and alloys.
- Select appropriate materials, tools, and processes required to complete tasks. <...
