Job Description Job Description Tool & Die Technician Overview: Perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, gaugers, and hand tools Responsibilities & Requirements: Perform preventive maintenance of all tools. Set up and run Bridgeports, lathers, and surface grinders Clean the tool surfaces with the approved products. Knowledge of micrometers, calipers, indicators, optical comparators, ring and thread gauges. Inspect for, and document, any defects or damage identified. Use the Cold Jet tool cleaning system when applicable Support production departments in repairing, adjusting and maintaining all forms of equipment Clear all waste and cleaning products when complete Wipe any grease, oil, dirt, etc. generated during the PM from machine surfaces Any assignment as directed per management within the scope of personal capabilities INDIRECT TASKS: Perform housekeeping of the tool and die area Order necessary materials to p...
