Job Description
Our client, a Av Manufacturing company, is looking for a Torque Technician for their Hayward, CA location. Responsibilities:
+ Maintain proper care and calibration status of torque tools and fastening equipment
+ Perform in-process and final inspections of fastened joints for quality and compliance (residual torque check, torque tool periodic inspection).
+ Collaborate with Manufacturing and Vehicle Engineering to support joint testing, validation and installation trials.
+ Proactively detect and address fastening issues, including cross-threading, under/over-torque, galling, or joint loosening.
+ Accurately document fastening data, inspection results, and nonconformances in manufacturing and quality systems.
+ Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to fastener or joint failures.
