Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods and products within the warehouse, including picking, packing, and loading/unloading deliveries. They will also be required to carry out deliveries to customer and site locations as needed. The role includes providing product knowledge on electrical products and delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter, provide advice, information, quotations and ensure maximum level of sales and margin.
- Offer alternative products, up-sell where possible, promote own brands and cross brand sales.
- Stay updated with product knowledge and branch costs and targets.
- Taking orders and preparing them.
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including goods in and goods out.
- Involvement in all aspects of the business on site.
