The Bank is looking to fill the following vacancy within its settlements Division: Trade Officers
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
• Scrutinise import and export documents presented under documentary credit keeping in mind the credit terms, UCP and ISBP, TBM.
• Ensure that all compliant and discrepant documents presented under LC are processed as per UCP
• Review transactions thoroughly to ensure that all relevant documents are scanned to cover operational and documentary risk in order to protect the interests of the Bank and customers
• Ensure that all tasks assigned are achieved as per operational and compliance procedures
• Ensure timely submission of data/reports required by line manager
Qualification Required & Experience
• A University degree in a Business related course with a minimum of second class lower
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in international trade
