Job Description
The Trading Analyst Intern is responsible for building quantitative models, financial/statistical tools, and engineering data-driven applications that support trading workflows. This role requires strong mathematical, coding, and problem-solving abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Track vessel movements, flows, refinery activity, and supply/demand signals.
Extract and clean data from APIs, reports, and internal systems.
Update and run Python/SQL scripts used in market tracking workflows.
Conduct research beyond BAU, including deep dives on market patterns and events.
Prepare charts, dashboards, and analytical summaries for trading discussions.
Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies.
Test dashboards and workflow changes.
Collaborate with analysts, traders and engineers on various tasks as needed.
