Job Description
Purpose
Oversee transportation and customs processes to guarantee that products/goods reach their destination efficiently and in compliance with all national and international regulations and standards as applicable.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinates transportation activities for goods, ensuring that shipments are made in a timely manner and that products reach destinations safely and efficiently, optimizing delivery times to meet established dates.
- Ensures documentation is correct and complete: Includes issuance and review of shipping documents, such as BOLs, packings, commercial invoices and certs, required for goods transportation as applicable.
- Monitors daily shipments from origin to destination: Implements controls and tasks that allow shipment progress verification, making sure to take action on any situation that may arise during shipment preparation or while in transit to destination.
