Train Service Personnel I
Under direct supervision, the Train Service Personnel I will work alongside Breakman, Conductor or Fireman to learn the job duties of each position.
Essential Functions
- Work alongside Breakman, Conductor or Fireman to learn job duties of each position.
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance inspections on locomotives and passenger coaches and related equipment.
- Assist in completing required reporting, record keeping and required FRA forms in a timely, accurate and organized manner.
- Assist in Roundhouse operations to include, but not limited to, the proper use, storage and maintenance of tools, supplies and equipment.
- Ensure that fellow employees and passengers have a safe and pleasant experience.
- Ensure equipment, facilities and grounds are secure, clean and well maintained.
- Ensure all records, files, forms and logs are well maintained and organized. <...
