About the Role
We are currently seeking to employ a Trainee Line Mechanic, based in Upper Hutt, Wellington. In this role, you will train to attain a National Certificate in Electricity Supply in order to obtain EWRB registration.

Responsibilities
- Identify electrical systems in preparation for work.
- Use line machinery, plant, and equipment in an electricity network environment.
- Determine the condition of electricity supply lines.
- Develop work plans for construction and servicing overhead electricity supply lines and equipment.
- Replace load‑bearing pole hardware in electrical networks up to 33 kV.
- Rig electrical network structures.
- Install and replace electricity network pole structures.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of NZQA level 1 is desirable.
