Job Description
The Trainee Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the store while gaining the knowledge and practical experience required to progress into a management role. The position focuses on developing strong leadership capability, operational understanding, and customer service excellence within a fast-paced retail environment.
The role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, merchandising, pricing accuracy, stock rotation, and security. Under store management guidance, the trainee will learn to manage budgets, control shrinkage, optimise stock levels, implement promotions, and lead a motivated team to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Higher qualification (advantageous)
- 2–3 years retail experience
