- Control daily and monthly tonnage
- Plan production schedules, workflow and resource allocation while effectively managing delays
- Ensure conformance to production plans and schedules
- Manage stock and raw materials, ordering material as required
- Develop and update operating procedures in conjunction with training department
- Manning of positions e.g., shift systems, backups, rotating, etc
- Implement new products and processes, conducting the necessary trials of proposed
