The Transport Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring transportation activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe delivery of goods. This role involves daily coordination with drivers, transport providers, warehouse teams, and customers to meet operational requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle assignments
- Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and delivery performance
- Coordinate with drivers and transport providers regarding trip instructions, delivery timelines, and route changes
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Track deliveries, handle delays or incidents, and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
